If you’re like me, you often get frustrated when you can’t figure out where to buy something while on social media. Maybe you just reblogged a KILLER jumpsuit on Tumblr or you were looking for a pair of boots similar to those that your favorite blogger posted, but you can’t find them anywhere. Luckily, StyleSpotter is here to simplify and streamline your shopping experience.

StyleSpotter is a fantastic new iPad app that is revolutionizing how I’ve been shopping recently. It’s sort of like the Pinterest of shopping in that you can save your favorite items and group them into collections. What’s really exciting though is that you can also follow people and gain inspiration through friends and other influential fashionistas.


Not only can you browse hundreds of brands and products, but StyleSpotter updates you on price drops and inventory in real time so you never miss an opportunity to score big! But wait, it gets better! Say you finally found that amazing pair of sunglasses that you’ve been coveting but it’s still not at a price point that you’re comfortable with. StyleSpotter will give you examples of similar styles at different prices all on the same page. No more wasting time with 85 tabs open at once! Hallelujah!

Today I'm so excited to be posting about Brilliant Earth for their Pinterest Personality Style Challenge! Brilliant Earth is a great company that focuses on ethically sourced diamonds which I fully support. In this styling session, I based my look off of their elegant, minimalist accessories because I think that they fit best with my own personal style.
For this casual look, I chose to focus on minimal jewelry and accessories so that their small details would not be overpowered by a look full of huge prints and patterns. I love to complete a silk top with a long, light cardigan and I think that these purple and cream colors are great compliments. Their warmth also translates well when paired with gold. Thus, I chose to showcase Brilliant Earth's gold moon stud earrings. These also match the beautiful diamond studded ring. 

Finishing off the look was easy because of the great accessories: I chose a dark wash denim and black flats with a gold toe embellishment. I would definitely wear this to my new job, out to drinks with friends or on a weekend running errands. It's versatile and comfortable which, for my style, are two key factors.
