CHRISTMAS EVE!

via tumblr

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!! Happy Holidays to you and yours, spend today and tomorrow being thankful for all that you have been blessed with and for family board games that inevitably end up in laughter and maybe a little too much to drink. Love you all!

MONDAY.

Hey everyone! So it's Monday, and I don't know about you but I am struggling especially hard today at the office. I feel like everything is going wrong and it's just one of those days you know? So instead of giving you an earth-shattering fashion post, I'm going to post some of the things that I found while trolling the internet that made me laugh. Enjoy! We'll all get through this together... right? RIGHT?!

First up is this video of the adorable Corgi twerking to Bubble Butt. So cute and way better at booty shaking than Miley.

Next is a series of incredibly sexual pictures of Heath Ledger. He may be gone from us but his legacy of good looks and phenomenal acting will always live on... at least for me. How did I come across these pictures? I googled him... I told you it's that kind of day. You're welcome.

This addition was just found by my lovely co-worker Jenna. I mean really Police? How does this even happen?

Lastly, here is the HILARIOUS spoof of Kanye's terrible new music video. If this doesn't make you pee your pants, then I don't know what will.

NEW LAYOUT! AND SOME OTHER FUN TIDBITS

As some of you may have noticed, I now have a new layout! I'm still in the process of tweaking, but thanks to Chris, the awesome guy behind Hubby Jack's Blog Attack, I am on the road to an infinitely better layout than before. Stay tuned but in the mean time, please enjoy this super awesome vine compilation that has been cracking me up all day.

Honestly, if you have the balls to get in a car with a random person, and then somehow manage to not get shot or arrested, you're awesome in my book. Laughs on laughs. Happy Thursday everyone! Look out for the newest Splurge, Save, Steal tomorrow on the blog!

So many things!

First of all...

BOSTON RED SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the first time since 1918, the Red Sox won the World Series at Fenway! Fenway is magical to begin with but add another shiny trophy to the collection and it adds even more to the historic ball park. Unfortunately I was not at the actual game, nor did I battle the crowds to riot in the streets (you can thank Pretty Lights for totally wiping me out for that one) but you bet your ass I was screaming on my couch the minute we got that last out! LOVE THAT DIRTY WATER! #bostonstrong

 THIS is how you celebrate!

Never been happier! Boston Red Sox WORLD CHAMPIONS!

Now that I've gotten some fangirling out of the way, in honor of Halloween, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite costumes from when I was little: Tinkerbell!

A friend's mom posted this to Facebook this morning and it was too amazing not to share. If only I could still trick or treat! For some last minute costume inspiration, click here.

Lastly, to pump you up for your night of fright, here's a song that I literally have on repeat. I suggest playing it over and over and over and over and over...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Friday!!!

Had SO much fun with Kelsey of Tickle Me Pink yesterday at the Lucky FABB conference in New York City! Sadly I was not able to attend day 2 today as work commitments interfered but I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing men and women and spend time with friends. Stay tuned for the full post and coverage of my experience at Lucky FABB and have a fantastic weekend!

xoxo

P.S. If you haven't seen this video yet, I highly suggest you watch it. It's another feel good Friday video and let me tell you, you're going to need the tissues.

And for some FEEL GOOD on this lovely FRIDAY!

I thought I would do something a little differently today. I have been watching numerous videos on YouTube since I started working at my job. It was never a problem until about 3 months ago when I realized something slightly embarrassing... I am way too emotional. People have always told me that my empathy towards other is my best and worst quality. Let me tell you... after the past 3 or so months, I've realized they are right.

Here's an example: I am the Meeting Services Coordinator for a private equity firm in Boston. My daily duties consist of answering phones, expense reports, organizing and planning all internal meetings and of course greeting guests and providing customer service. Normally, my days are pretty standard and often times a little boring. Thus, why I started searching the internet for entertainment. Well, what I quickly learned was that if I watch even a remotely emotional video, you can forget any sense of composure, I'm crying. That is not an exaggeration, My friend and co-worker, Jenna, literally turned to me and said, "Kayte. Pull yourself together, we have a VIP meeting coming in 5 mins." She was right, the tears and mascara streaming down my face, while sitting at the front desk of the office, was certainly not a good look.

Regardless, I still watch these videos. I CAN'T HELP IT OKAY?! I'M JUST TRAPPED IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION, ALL THE TIME! So in honor of what has to be my raging hormones and overactive tear ducts, I give you a really awesome, feel good, cry at the front desk video to take you into the weekend. You're welcome.

( Watch it in privacy if you have that luxury. I guarantee at least watery eyes. )

xoxo
